Dr. Missy Clifton is a triple board-certified dermatologist, laser surgeon and Integrative health physician. She holds board certifications from the American Board of Dermatology, the American Board of Laser Surgery, and the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine. Dr. Clifton graduated summa cum laude from the University of Central Arkansas with a Bachelor of Science Degree and a Minor in Interdisciplinary Studies from the Honors College in 1995. She then attended the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, where she graduated first in her class in 1999. Dr. Clifton completed a 1-year Internship in Internal Medicine at UAMS, before completing a 3-year Residency in Dermatology. She served her last year as Chief Resident.
She founded Premier Dermatology, Aesthetics and Wellness in Bentonville, Arkansas, in 2004 with the goal of creating a state-of-the-art practice with “All Things Skin Under One Roof.” Premier has three conveniently located offices in Bentonville, Fayetteville and the Walmart Global Campus to serve all of Northwest Arkansas and surrounding regions. Dr Clifton has as a special interest bio-identical hormone therapy, peptides and longevity which led her to co-found nudaLabs, the world’s most extensive database and provider of American made, and third party tested peptide therapies. She is also the founder of Clinical Trials Institute of Northwest Arkansas, where she participates in medical and cosmetic trials for new skin therapies and treatments. Her research interests have led to several publications in the Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology, Pediatric Dermatology and the Journal of Cutaneous Pathology. In addition, she is a founding Partner of MD Hair Labs and Vitality where she focuses on hair restoration and transplantation. Dr Clifton is also the medical director of Etienna Bio, a biotech company focused on innovations in aesthetic medicine. Dr Clifton trains upcoming dermatology and aesthetic providers through her company Premier Aesthetic Training Institute. She is a coveted trainer national trainer and speaker for many aesthetic and laser companies. Dr Clifton is also an advisory board member for many cosmetic and laser companies including Revision skincare, Acclaro Evolus, Allergan, Ariessence and ProTransit. She is also a specialty advisor to the Alice Walton school of medicine and mentors the medical students in the Dermatology interest club.
In her free time, she loves spending time with her family and friends, doing Pilates, weightlifting, participating in book club and bunco groups. She is a decade long board member of the Cancer Challenge Board of Directors of NWA and is very active in support of many charities including the NWA Children’s Shelter, The American Heart Association and the Arkansas Dermatologic Society where she was past president.
